STEP 1

Reach Out

Begin the franchise application process by completing our brief intake form. Once submitted, a member of our team will reach out to schedule an introductory call. On the call, we’ll learn more about your background and goals and address any initial questions you have about owning a Kid to Kid franchise.

STEP 2

Kid to Kid Brand Review

If we feel there is a potential mutual fit after the introductory call, we’ll schedule a Kid to Kid brand review. During this session, we’ll provide a detailed overview of our history, mission, business model, and team. You’ll also learn more about the dedicated support each franchise owner receives.

STEP 3

FDD Disclosure & Review

Next, you’ll receive our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). The FDD outlines important details about opening and operating a Kid to Kid store, including investment requirements, financial performance information, and ongoing obligations as a franchisee. Take as much time as you need to carefully review the FDD and reach out to our team with any questions.

STEP 4

Application & Validation

After reviewing our FDD, if you feel that Kid to Kid is the right opportunity for you, the next step is to submit a formal application. This application allows us to gather additional information about your experience, financial readiness, and goals as a potential franchise owner. During this phase, we also encourage you to reach out to our community of franchisees to learn from their perspectives.

STEP 5

Meet Our Team

Discovery Day is one of the most exciting and informative steps of our process. You’ll spend two days at our corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City, where you’ll meet our senior leadership team and learn more about our operations, culture, and values. Our team is also excited to hear more about your background and goals for the future.

STEP 6

Sign Your Agreement

Once you’re ready to move forward, you’ll sign your franchise agreement and submit the initial franchise fee. At this point, the franchise onboarding process begins. You’ll be introduced to our new store support team, who will guide you through the steps leading up to your grand opening.

STEP 7

Start Building Your Business!

With your agreement in place, it’s officially time to get going! Our team supports you through site selection, store buildout, training, and marketing preparation. Training includes a mix of online resources, in-person sessions, and hands-on experience in-store. Supporting new franchisees during their Grand Opening weekend is one of the best parts of our job!
